  1. Another year and a half and I'll open up my own brokerage. I'm going to build a real estate company out of nerds. Come join the fun! [emoji4]
  2. Any chance at a clearer picture?
  3. You call yourself a scientist sir! Get your head out of the smoke stacks you "air guy"! [emoji12]
  4. I graduated right before the Franchione era started. Barely missed that train wreck!
  5. I would suspect something with parameters...seeing as how the setosa had some issues as well. The setosa is on the easier to care for side of SPS as well so that is my main basis for thinking something else is at play here.
  6. I'm a big football fan regardless and I go to half the UT games every year with my wife and her UT family. I won't lie, it'd be nice to see them winning more games just to make the experience that more enjoyable.
  7. Nice! The scale should correlate to the amount of titrant used so it should be pretty accurate over the 1500ppm that your test card stops at. For my Red Sea kit, its a 0.01 ml titrant : 20 ppm Mg correlation.
  8. Randy Farley Holmes, the chemistry guru of reefkeeping mentioned their reporting/testing limits don't add up on their website. May want to wait until it passes the vaporware test.
  9. Nice! Sneak a bit of his water and test the heck out of it. Inquiring minds want to know.
  10. It'd be akin to using live rock so I would imagine you would not want to use medication with it in your QT/hospital tank.
  11. I'll say it a million times... you're a reef master when you can hold the alk steady for years at a time.
  12. I'll be there and will use it as a location for coral pickup since its been a little too hard for me to individually meet people lately. I'll post a sale thread soon of the mystery frags in my frag tank.
  13. denied. coral isn't poultry. A&M Galveston, Marine biology department sir. I'll tear it up on the research... Like Notre Dame did to you Longhorns this past weekend.
  14. I got your two freebies for the year and one acro that made it from Jeremy's old tank. Come and get it sir.
  15. Maybe I'll apply for a research grant with A&M and buy one then.
  16. I think the guys at RCA are having a little too much fun with that band saw. You're a brave man to try a spathulata on your first attempt. Super picky!
  17. A FarmerTy public announcement... SPS are more resilient than most give them credit for... For those itching to try, just make sure you give them flow, strong lights, stable foundation elements (alk, Ca, Mg), and lower nutrients. They'll take care of themselves for the rest. Happy reefing! 18. Their target audience seems more in line with academic initiatives than your common reefer.Let's get a dumbed down version for us hobbiests! Mindstream Lite! [emoji4]
  19. Just do 20% and see how everything looks. There are a lot of factors involved, including the levels from your salt mix. Easier just to do the 20% and see what you need to do from there once everything is stabilized.
  20. Picture bump! This could be yours!
