No idea for shelf life but I would imagine the active ingredients don't degrade very quickly. It is not effective for red and black bugs by my own experience. They'll hold on, clamp down, and survive the dip. Bear in mind, I dose a pretty heavy dose of Bayer too.

I plan to bring some purple and cyan war corals, blue ice zoas, sunset monti scraps, warp speed scraps, Jedi mind trick monti, and baby green fungia plates. I'll have an SPS pack with an oregon tort, PC rainbow, FarmerTy's lotus blossom, and setosa as well for auction. For equipment, I have a CaRX and Sicce Syncra 12 pump for sale. Those will have a reserve price to start. I may have some other equipment to unload and will bring those as well.

Have you tried dipping your acros? Perhaps there is a pest on them? Only reason I ask is that the zoas look to be in great health so maybe the water is fine... Perhaps something is attacking them?

Are you going upright or horizontal with the PVC?

I just got a good look at the before and after shots this morning... It looks like a crown-of-thorns starfish went through the area. I'm reverse reefing right now... deconstruct... not build... [emoji15]

I was blessed to be a part of the club in its heyday at the start and with such a devoted and involved staff! I am also very excited about the new energy that the new additions to the staff will bring. I look forward to all the exciting events and new ideas that Dan and Brian will bring to the table. 2016 is already shaping up to be an amazing year!

Before After Who wants my help next in their tank? [emoji12] I got rid of both the warp speed monti and the sunset monti off the main rock. They were growing way faster than desired and started choking out my acros. I'll do the triple dip on all my acros and then start glueing then back to their final spots over the holidays. I've been pretty happy with my Ocean Revive LED transition Bpb. We all know T5s are the gold standard for lighting/coloration in SPS but the OR LEDs come in a close 3rd place right behind MHs to me. I've actually have my last OR fixture on order to truly go full LED in my system now. That's how convinced I am. What settings are you running on yours? Ever thought to just run them and remove the BML strip? The jury is still out for me with BML and SPS dominant tanks. My turbo snails and urchins have decimated my turf algae as well. I'm a little saddened by it actually but maybe I just got used to seeing rolling hills of maroon/red turf algae. Sometimes a total restart isn't terrible. If my tank isn't the way I envisioned, I'd restart it too. To be honest, I think your tank looks great but that's just my 2 cents.

First off, you lost me when you mentioned water change. Haha. 2nd, if I'm catching all the fish out, I might as well put them all in a tub and leave the tank fallow for 72 days and be done with ich. 3rd, no way I'm putting holes in 3/4" glass, if things go wrong, I don't have a tank anymore and all my coral friends and fish friends will have to move in with you. Wait... was that the end game for you?
