  1. Elegant wrasse - 3.5", $40 Eats frozen and generally very active and a very smart fish. It's been through tank transfer method (TTM) and prazipro so ich and intestinal worm/fluke free. It is the smallest of the coris wrasses and generally considered reef safe compared to the other coris wrasses. 2. Hey all, Now that I have finally installed my T5 retrofit kit, I'm moving along my 48" reefbrite XHO 50/50 white/blue LED strip. Its got a little rust on a bolt on one side and the black is a little scraped in one area on the bottom where you won't ever look but otherwise in good condition. Perfect for supplemental lighting now that BML is out of the Saltwater lighting game. First $100 gets it. Thank you. https://premiumaquatics.com/products/reef-brite-xho-48-bluewhite-led-light-strip.html
  3. I hope you got a bunch of tuxedo urchins Jake! I want a million of them in my tank!
  4. I know what I'm dressing up as for Halloween now!
  5. Yeah, that was my hope but Apex didn't work it that way to be compatible. All the old modules will work but suspiciously, the new energy bars won't.
  6. Yeah, it's nice that it goes backwards, but the current "classic" version can't use the new energy bars. I'm not an engineer but there really is no reason the new energy bars shouldn't work with the "classic" apex. They still haven't officially said anything about the upgraded Fusion operating system and whether the "classic" Apex will be upgraded to it as well.
  7. It's got to be the heater, temp probe, or malfunctioning pump that's causing the issue if all other environmental factors are all the same. If I had to take a guess, it's a pump. Any chance the thermostat to your HVAC system is off? Does it actually feel a tad warmer to you in the house?
  8. Yeah, I'm curious if there will be a legacy upgrade option for current owners of the "classic" apex. The national forums are at an uproar on their marketing strategy of discounting the old units to clear inventory before releasing the new model instead of letting people know and letting them make the choice of saving $100 or waiting to get the new version. It'll be interesting what happens in the next month or so before its released.
  9. The new individually monitored outlets is what has me excited. Could you imagine knowing when a pump has stalled or a heater malfunctioned just by the amps its drawing or not drawing?
  10. Looks like the new Apex is coming out soon. BRS is already taking pre-orders.
  11. It's that other type of pvc fittings you see at Home Depot that is beige in color and doesn't seem to fit any of your pieces of schedule 40 PVC... no matter how hard you push it together. [emoji4]
  12. Big fan of my 215 gallon dimensions... 72" x 24" x 29". Good length for most of your tangs and large angels and nice height and depth to get you that show tank look. Takes up my vision when looking at it. My only gripe is wishing I had a 30" depth but that would get me in that 300-gallon range. Not there yet in this house at least.
  13. Once in a blue moon I read the title to the thread and click on it dreaming that you're giving it away to me! Hope you get that tank soon!
  14. Huzzah! A lurker turned poster! I'm glad you decided to start posting about your tank. Hopefully the close goes smoothly for you and you get some good progress on the new tank.
  15. Rainbow stylos are amazing looking! That's a great deal Rchavez!
  16. Nice score! Make sure any other tangs after the powder blue are bigger and more aggresive or he'll kill them for sure.

I'm pretty sure this post is just to get me off your back. It bought you a month man! [emoji16]
  18. Good catch. I seem to have left off my negative in that sentence. I'll fix it in the original post as not to steer people the wrong way.
  19. Click on the store tab at the top of the page and you'll see where you can purchase a premium membership. It'll list all the benefits of the card as well.
  20. I have a mixed bag of feelings from awe and extreme jealously that you could put something together from scratch in basically a week. I'm still staring at a 3 year old tank that's stand isn't finished yet. Glad to have you back sir.
  21. Welcome back Gibs! Check out Offroaddodge's build thread he just started where he used a 40-gallon breeder. It looks great!
