Having run MH, T5, and budget LEDs, I'm a big fan of running LED with T5 supplemental lighting. That being said, for a 20g, I'd just buy an Ocean Revive T247B fixture with the included legs, throw it over my tank, and be done with it. They are super cheap and what I use on my tank so it can definitely support SPS growth... even on a 29" tall tank.

There's going to be some big changes soon! ...so what else is new? There's always changes going on in that lab experiment! On my God it's finally happened, hasn't it? You've decided remove foam fractionation in order to gauge zooxanthellae generation in captive coral species! Are you going lagoon? Do we need an intervention!!No skimmer, adding macro algae in the display, going all softie... anybody have any xenia?

Yeah, Jake made out on that deal. I made him give me a replacement emerald and it was just a baby. He got my Alaskan king crab emerald instead. It has been a part of my soul but I returned it to the man I got the 1" frag from originally 5 years ago.

Barely fit the 5-gallon buckets I put them each in. It was quite the task getting them out of there and over to RCA.Haha had to know how you transported them Trust me, I was a little concerned about the best way as well to transport them as well. If the buckets didn't work, I don't know what I would have done.

So this happened today... Beginner SPS... gone! I'll be adding a couple more rocks in that spot to increase the height a bit and then glue all colonies to their final spots and have a clear sandbed again. There will be some changes to SPS placement so be ready!
