    We normally worry about cooling tanks. With these you would have to super heat the tank.

    I believe final "behind the scenes" stuff is being set up to get the store open soon. Hopefully later this week. Mike will be able to provide a better esitmate in the near future.

    Yes, they have changed, as reflected by the pinned post being removed from the Group Buys. Group buys can now be started for any place ... though, just like selling items, Group buys can only be intiated by Premium Members.

    You might also check (call) Aqua-Dome, they generally have a shark in their open flat tank with the anemones, cuc's, and seshares.

    Well, that could be with T5's (I have never owned that style of lights). The 6 month thing works well for MH's, as different corals start growing better as the lights get older (LPS).

    I don't really have anything to add on the color selection part, but just wanted to remind a few things on adding new bulbs. Be sure to reduce your light schedule when you change the new bulbs. I generally half my schedule, then slowy bump it back up on a weekly basis (from .5 - 1 hour per week). Most people generally replace bulbs every 6 months, as the light output and color shift as the bulbs get older. Brand new bulbs will be a shock to the tank, and I don't want to see you burn on corals (like I have done numerous times in the past).

    It really needs to be on the sandbed, as they can "walk" (move) around.

    Looking really nice. The minimal look is good for a tank with such clean lines. I would watch out for the strawberry pseudo, as I use to have one that liekd to snack on inverts.

    The Evolution series are designed for wavemaker devices. I use these with my Red Sea controller. And like Rob, I have them at each end of the tank, but attached to the back plane, and angled forward to slight "inward" in the tank (if that makes sense). I am not trying to create a wave, but just random flow patterns.
