    Fixed the title for ya.
  2. What subsea said. Looks like a typical benign hitchhiker sponge. I have a much smaller one visible on one of my rocks in my tank.
  3. The rules have already changed And that is a very sharp looking tank! Nice form to the rocks too.

  5. As a Premium Member of ARC, you receive the following benefits from Austin Aqua-Dome when you show them your card: Savings club membership for $10.00 (normally $19.99).
  6. All of the local stores that sponsor ARC (Aqua-Dome, RCA, and AquaTek) have frag tanks with great prices on various corals. I have purchased items from all three and have been extremely happy. From the Dome alone I have gotten zoas, gorgonian, orange brains, etc from their frag tank. As for online, you will just have to shop around. But shipping is normally expensive unless you buy a lot, or get involved in a group order (such as Mr. Cob's current ARC only group order).
  7. Created a new topic, so everyone see's what Andrew posted about a new e-mail address.
  8. Welcome back to the fun!
  9. Come on people, there have to be more with growth shots for the pic contest.

Some yellow Zoa's I got from Mark C.
  13. I would like to add that if ARC ever did go down this path, I doubt it would ever be mandatory that everyone would have to use it (in fact, I doubt we could realistically get one large enough). People would still be able to set up their own tanks. I would envision it has a way for small time fraggers to have a better way to display their goods than just in little plastic baggies.
  14. Folks, this thread is really meant to discuss the new member benefits. I am going to split the frag tank discussion into it's own thread. Ideas and civalized discussion about them are always welcome here at ARC. Edit: New thread is here.
  15. Yes, on the main page the "Want to Sell" section now has this sub-text:
  16. Once the payment clears PayPal, your account will automatically be updated to Premium Member. Alright I'll see if it works later. When I did the paypal payment it said it would have to manually be activated by staff. Alerted Mike to look at it.

They are prevented from posting again. Problem is there is no pattern to the usernames/IP addresses/etc to block them more easily.

seems to be an influx with the new year. Good job guys!

  19. If it is exposed to air, it normally turns a real bright orangish, and then eventually bleaches.
  20. I don't ever recall hearing hermit crabs eating coralline algae. I would more suspect they have been been picking at the dying stuff. Your coralline is also ptbably going through a transition stage as it adapts to your lights in the the tank. So some will die off, and others will start to florish. I would put the hermits back in and let them clean up the rock so the coraling can have nice clean areas to spread.
