Ok, now it really should be fixed. The software update has been fixed, and I have re-enabled upload permissions.
-
Looks like something might have happened during the board software update ... trying to figure it out. Don't worry, I will extend the submission deadline to whenever we get this sorted out.
-
Looking into it.

Yeah, I wasn't really advocating arrow crabs as they can be predators of fish. I have thought about adding one to try dealing with some euclid worms I have, but didn't want to put small fish at risk.
-
I have found my tangs to be great at algae control. Much better than snails.
Arrow crabs will deal with bristleworms (but they can be a good part of a tank).
Wrasses, like others have said, are good controls of flatworms, flukes, pest snails. Some wrasses will also serve as cleaners of fish.
Butterflies are good at pest anemone control, but will turn on corals when the pests are exhausted.

Hey, we have that same towel
-
No need to cure dry rock. Just add it in, but I would be careful stirring up the sand bed, as you will release lots of gunk into the tank.

Sale is done, so is this thread.

Starting a thread for vehicles spotted during July 2012 with an ARC vinyl sticker on it.
NEW: I have created the Spot The ARC Vehicle Gallery for people to post their vehicle pictures sporting the ARC sticker. Remember you need a picture posted in that gallery first!
And the official rules:
- You must post a picture in the Spot The ARC Vehicle Gallery showing the ARC vinyl sticker on your vehicle. The picture must clearly show the sticker, make, model, and color of the vehicle. Please blur out the license plate if it is included in the picture.
- Only ARC staff members are qualified to "spot" a vehicle.
- Official ARC meetings, gatherings, trips, etc are not eligible for a vehicle to be "spotted" (come on, that would be too easy!).
- One entry per person for a given month.
- You may only win once per calendar year.
- ARC reserves the right to modify the contest rules and what-not at any time.
The random winner of this month wins a $25 gift certificate to Reefs2Go!

The category for July is: Big. The recent Seaworld trip reminded us that there are bigger things out there that might not fit in a tank. Show us something "big" (aquatic themed). It can be as big as a whale or something like a comparison shot showing a size difference. Use your imagination!
Please note the new rules:
-
Picture must be taken by you.
- One entry per person.
- Picture must be aquatic themed/related.
-
(New) You may only win once per calendar year. Thus if you win a photo contest in 2012, you will not be able to enter any future contests for the year. We feel this gives everyone a chance in the contests throughout the year.
Submit your photos to the following gallery:
Submissions close at midnight July 15th.
Winner receives a $25 Air/Water/Ice gift certificate!

Thank you for the generous offer. We won't be able to attend though. We will either have a very tired 3.5 year old after the tour (thus we are heading home), or we will be trying to squeeze as much SeaWorld in as possible.

Thanks James I'm going to try to pick 1 up today or tomorrow. They were out. If not I'll check out fishy business. Thanks Rory.
Yes, the Aquadome had two yesterday.
They were the biggest ones I have every seen. I almost got one at that price ... but decided my other fish purchases where enough for the time being
-
Aquadome had a few large ones in yesterday ... I think for $19.99.
-
Welcome!
-
Not sure which one of you's birthday it is ... but hope you have a happy birthday!
-
Wife said we are done with it. If you are interested, let me know.
Some details:
- It is 3.5 years old, not used much though.
- Being used, I think I am only supposed to resell the pump itself. So I guess you would have to get new tubing (looks just like airline tubing!), and collection cups, and stuff.
- Willing to let it go for $100 OBO.
-
We have one that looks something like that. Let me check with the wife to see what her plans are for it.
-
Moving to WTB section.

Welcome!
