  1. We do It is a little old, but I found it using the search: Flood Stories
  2. I have tried to get my sole pink skunk to host in my frogspawn but so far no luck....
  3. Another good rule of thumb is that most crabs with pointy claws tend to be aggressive (*cough* sally lightfoots *cough*).
  4. Anemones require high amounts of light, so make sure you have a good light fixture over your tank. Besides that, they will eat mysis, small bits of krill, other frozen food also. Most clowns, once they start hosting, will actually feed the anemone by bringing food to it.
  5. Thanks Mike & Family for tolerating the mass of people over at your house It was a great meeting. We really should capture a lot of the do's and don'ts you mentioned on stand/canopy making, as it was a great talk.

    Toadstool Leathers

Right now all of the frags I have are spoken for ... but if something falls through, I will let you know.

    Toadstool Leathers

I already had one set aside for you and one for Robb if we ever cross paths again These were two extras above and beyond that.

    Toadstool Leathers

If you are coming to the meeting, then you are more than welcome to it. Sure, I have had great luck with candy canes in my current tank.
  9. You might scan this page if you haven't already. I didn't see anything particularly helpful, other than most non-hitchhiking tunicates are not long lived
  10. I would say any fish in the system would end up eating most of the larva also.

    Toadstool Leathers

I will be bringing two toadstool leather frags to the meeting tomorrow. They are tan, with ever-so-slight greenish polyps. They were fragged many months ago, so are totally healed, and growing rapidly. One in only about an inch across, and the other is a couple of inches. They are free to a good home, but if you have some low-light corals you are looking to offload, would take some in exchange.
  12. Hey! Most of the meeting are way up north!
  13. You are right ... I didn't realize that... never saw one that large.
  14. I have a flame angel in my 75g. He leaves most things alone, but I think he pecks at my gorgonians every once in a while. He might also nip at my xenia, but that is fine as it grows back

    Free misc. Palys

Meeting is Saturday (if you are talking about the ARC meeting).
  16. Do you mix saltwater in the same can also?
  17. Subsea, thanks for the offer, but I am trying to get rid of toadstool leathers myself I have 4 frags that I want to move out of my tank.
  18. Nice!! We barely got much that stuck to the ground down south here.
  19. I have been using a green one with the wheels attached for over a year now with no problems. I generally don't keep it full for more than a couple of days though.
  20. Your tank bioload could probably handle a sixline.
  21. I don't have any direct experience with building/owning a frag tank, but here is what I have seen in others: - Barebottom .. not much need for sand. - Various levels of egg crate - Minimal clean up crew... maybe something to eat some algae. I have seen 6 line wrasses added to eat other bugs. - Generally shallower than a normal tank. - Lighting is still pretty important, as you generally are trying to grow out the corals. - Flow depends on what you are putting in there (i.e. SPS like more flow).
  22. They almost look like brine shrimp ... but could be nudibranchs (hard to tell). Do you have any wrasses in your tank? They like to eat small things like that...
