100% about 4" above the water.

They are not easy to catch. The one I have is a bit more flat. It travels under the sand, but can jet back inside the rocks instantly.

You can come get the one out of my 75g.

Ah, the December Early Bird Page is gone now.
Here is the correct link: February Early Bird Tickets
I will correct the original post. Thanks for finding this!

Hey guys, I've got another new and aggravating problem. I tried to go to the ARC store to buy my C4 ticket, it says "you are not allowed to purchase that". What gives, cause I know that ain't right, LOL. That shows up when I go to the C4 page in news and updates, then try to click on the link to go to the ARC store. A little help, please?
At what point does it give you that error? When you try adding the ticket to the cart? Or when you try to check out?

Moving this out of Tank Builds and into Off Topic.

Most were taken at 20X and 40X power. Was too lazy to get the oil out for the 100X objective. Got a few cool video's that I might post later. I was using the very precise method of focusing, then holding my iPhone up to the eyepiece to take the picture LOL! If I play with it much more, I'll have to make an adapter to fit over the eyepiece as it was very hard to hold the phone exactly right to get the picture. But I had fun
As a long term experiment I'm going to put a slide in the tank for several weeks where I hope to get a bacterial mat and some coraline algae to grow on it. That will look pretty cool under the scope I think. Probably have to dig out some stains to see everything.
That is the same method I use for capturing pictures from my telescope!

I like the predatory tank idea. I have seen some cool ones at Fish Gallery and the Dome lately.
-
The Dome has BML's over some of their tanks.

Reef Crystals here (when I do water changes *cough*). Most of my saltwater career it has been Instant Ocean or Reef Crystals. I have dabbled in a few other brands due to sales, but always end up back at what I normally use.

The jelly one is cool!

Epoxy over the anemone has worked for me in the past. Doesn't help those that are on power cords though :-z

The next step is white balance correction (which will remove the blue's that a lot of lights introduce). You can either do it with the camera or post-process the picture.
-
On my Canon, when you move into the manual shooting modes, you can then select the focus point. You probably have that same ability.

The frogspawn picture came out great! I have one of those screw on 10x lenses. I have fond I almost need to be right at the aquarium glass to use it, and the subject has to be pretty close.
And the fish will only be in the way until you try taking actual pictures of them..then they will hide

I believe pictures were taken and will be posted up soon.

That is a cool tank... I like that it is rectangular instead of the typical cube shape for a 24g.

Dealt with it. When that happens, please use the report button on one if the posts. That gets the staffs attention faster.

Maybe your daughter is just an old man at heart . Regardless, I approve of Ben and Jerry .
It is funny you mention that. When she was born, the nurses said she had an "old soul" as she didn't cry or fuss much during the whole initial bath and poke/prodding.

Welcome to another fellow Buda-an
You will get quite a lot of wide feedback on favorite stores. You just missed us having the monthly meeting last night at the Austin Aqua-Dome, located in South Austin. That, along with our sponsors in the north Austin area like River City Aquatics (RCA) are all great places to not only buy stuff but ask questions.
And of course, this board is a great place for both buying from members and question asking
