  1. +2 rodi. Its not the only option, but it certainly makes things easier.
  2. first thing to do is to double check your probe. use some pH 10 and pH 7 solution to see how accurate your readings are. i can spot you some (today even) if you need it. you want to make sure your measurements are correct before you start chasing a problem that may not exist. also, at first glace your calcium is very high. i don't think that the parameter in and of itself would irritate the RBTA, but are you getting any precipitate or hardening substrate?
  3. here are the release notes: http://www.neptunesystems.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/Release-Notes-4_30.pdf
  4. Dilute your sample 2:1 and then multiply your results by 2.
  5. just a note on bleeding hearts, i had a large school that had a male or two that were very agressive. a more passive option is the von rio tetra if you like the reds. just a little concerned that if you get a bad apple bleeding heart that it might bully the glass cats. just something to ponder!
  6. post that chart for maximum internet points
  7. There is a ridiculous pink goniopora that is going to be someone's show piece. Glad to have y'all back !
  8. So who is gonna pick up the wrought iron angel @ $3.69k?
  9. make sure to remind them that it will be cold!
  10. oh hey, more to add 2 frags of frogspawn. $5/head, i think one is a 6 head and one is a 3 head (so $30 and $15 respectively) UTReefer 1 frag of superman rhodactis from pham, had these for a loooooong time. http://www.austinreefclub.com/topic/28006-superman-rhodactis/ I believe its 7 heads, I'd like to get what pham is charging @ $20/head, not really wanting to cut it up either, so $140.
  11. now that shipping is free, the floodgates will open! kim you have created a monster.
  12. Aye aye capn. Cool little trick i read somewhere is to take your LED photos using polarized sunglasses. You get rid of the actinic glow that way.
  13. It's about that time. Major equipment changes are that I've had my dosers going for some time now. I've been using B-ionic and my dosing regiment ended up as 7 mL alk 11 mL calcium 10 mL mg daily I also added an evaporative fan, which hasn't made a huge difference. Recently I've also added a CO2 scrubber to keep my pH nice and high. My duncans, purple gorg (jamie i still owe you something) and various SPS. My cyphastrea went through a nasty spell where it looked like it was going to perish. I've backed my LEDs down to 60%, and it is much improved. The zoa area Some more detail of the SPS in my high light area. Aquatek valida from clint's teardown (purple tips) and shades of fall on top. Unknown light blue tort in the background. Cool little acro frag i got from AD off of a big mariculture colony. It's doing great so far, which is not the case with maricultures in my experience. My Miami frag made a great comeback with KimP's care. I bleached it out really badly, but she did a fantastic job!. Also a small nepthea frag and various zoas. Here's the bleached version from a few months back Superman montipora. This side of my tank sucks, i want to do a RBTA or something flowy, but I'm scared to death of "oozarkawater"ing it into my MP10. And here is case mccoy as napoleon dynamite
  14. Any way you can switch in another pump to see if its the pump itself?
