  1. No they're not.... C2 Development, Inc. 127 S. Bell Ave. Ames, IA 50010 Also, this was a merger, not a buyout. http://companies.findthecompany.com/l/2041213/C2-Development-Inc-in-Ames-IA $1.1 million annual revenue Kessil is a sub unit of DiCon Fiberoptics, Inc (which is a large, privately held, company ~$100-$500 million annual revenue), so the value is difficult to ascertain.
  2. I would try to match flow/light as best as you can from the previous tank.
  3. I think behind the scenes that neptune is gonna make a move (Neptune branded jebaos, feeders, followed by neptune branded lights?) and the only way AI and ecotech are gonna survive that onslaught is to team up and make their own controller.
  4. IMO well healed frags tend to be more resilient than large colonies. The challenge is to try to match conditions as best you can, which jsnt always possible. Pay special attention to alk and temperature (assuming your nutrient parameters are respectable).
  5. cool! that brick pillar would drive me nuts!
  6. The bangaii is like, gais, gais, I'm right here, have some class.
  7. Nope, just plug in a second probe (assuming you have the full apex) and you can use it to take actions based off of, or simply monitor, ambient temperature.
  8. If automation is the name of the game, then an apex is in your future!
  9. The media stops tumbling if the flow is too low, or there can be a chemical reaction where you have very high alk that can precipitate onto it and fuse it together (unlikely). I prefer HC BRS to regular BRS and phosban/phosgard because it is a much harder media. You can tumble it without worrying about it dissolving (which happened to me when I used phosban). My suggestion would be to clean the pump, and then clean the canister before you replace the media, whicj could be totally fine.
  10. i think algae consumes CO2 and produces O2 as a byproduct.
  11. Joel, the build looks great man. If what you put in it looks half as good as the build itself, it'll still look twice as good as mine !
  12. you can take it home and go the way of david kerrigan
  13. The maroon represents texas a&m. the green represents the money that johnny football didn't take for those 500 signed pictures *wink wink*
