notice how there is absolutely no qualm about taking away your space. in addition, your closet has been relocated to your sump cabinet. "MIke you smell kind of weird today, what is the cologne you're wearing?" "salt spray...."
this is not going to end well for you mike. are you totally prepared to have to give up another room her purse/shoe racks? because it's coming. just you wait.
or you could use a humidostat like this one:
http://www.amazon.com/Honeywell-H8908B-Whole-House-Humidistat/dp/B001QOGNMI
connected to an apex breakoutbox. you need to be aware that when you wire up the humidostat that the "on/off" will be reversed from what it normally is. So when the apex sees the switch as "on" the vent fan should actually be "off".
here's a thread about it on RC.

I don't know what your sump situation is, but frequently rinsing the fines out your filter socks and/or using a HOT Magnum micron filter has always worked wonders for me.
I've been here since yesterday, and I've been talking to your family and they just love you like crazy. There's nothing they will do to make this get better, there's nothing they won't to do help this continue another single day. /intervention.
I dunno man, a quick googling turns up quite a few " EVERYTHING IS DEAD" GE silicon II threads. If it were me, I'd redo it with something that was reef safe :/ Everything could totally be fine, but I just wouldn't take the chance.
yeah, sounds like your issue is microbubbles. you need to separate the skimmer from the return pump via baffles. google DIY bubble trap or DIY baffle for sump.
HOB's have a tendency to dump bubbles back into the tank in my experience. If you leave the HOB off for a bit, do the bubbles disappear?
Do you have a bubble trap inbetween the skimmer and the return pump?
I knew you'd see the light and understand less technology more biology. Glad to see your making sense now
I don't know, that one looks pretty efficient. Maybe not so much in the footprint though.
