    tapatalk is still screwy (restarted phone/app, relogged into forum). iphone5/newest iOS. the symptom is that only the first page of content for any given thread will show up. even if you "switch pages" it still shows the first page.<br /><br />hmph. the advanced posting works in firefox, but not chrome :/

    i think you can probably make a distinction between what is actually "too much" (ie will fry everything in the tank) and "overkill" (more than is necessary to grow anything you want to grow). LEDs are relatively inexpensive on a per LED basis, but for the purposes of the contest, an extra 16 bucks could be better spent elsewhere IMO (5% of your total budget on something unneeded).

    I run mine all night. It's personal preference, unless you want to get really exotic and try to simulate lunar cycles.
