  1. are these maricultures or aquacultures?
  2. Devils advocate to that is, in the event that you decide to keep a frag rack, or need some flow in your fuge, a "bleeder valve" can be of some utility in that situation. However, since you have a manifold, you can accomplish the same thing by running a hose off of the valve. Very well done, excited to see how this progresses.
  3. one last call for cyclopeeze, so put out your feeders and uhhhhh, no lyrical match there.
  4. now i want to see the photographs in action! how do you stick your head in the tank with the lights on?
  5. Ugh. That sucks. How is your dosing handled ? Are you running carbon ? Any creatures whose death could cause this ?
  6. i want to see a picture of your setup while youre taking pictures. A PICTURE WITHIN A PICTURE. PICTURE-CEPTION.
  7. ask yourself what is more important emily, money or coral?
  8. They just recently finished 183 construction in lampasas, so that should shave 3-4 minutes off of your drive time
  9. I assume that's a real question and not snarky rhetoric. The answer is obvious. I go to my CAD program, modify the design, and print out new parts! I meant for a person who has purchase one.
  10. What happens when Gatorade changes bottle design ?
  11. It's up to you to strike that balance of unnecessary but beneficial feedings to adding nutrients to your tank. I hand feed my chalices pellets to get them to grow faster. I also feed my scolymia. However, I don't directly feed anything else (duncans, acans, etc.)
  12. spoken like a man who has never had a lava cake
  13. The goo is weird to me. Any time I've ever seen a precipitation, it's like someone threw in a handful of very fine chalk dust. I wonder if, in the 8.4, they have some kind of additive that aids in preserving the solution. We'll probably never know without chemical analysis, but jeez, everyone steer clear of it in the future.
  14. uhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, that's aquarium 101. You use RO or Prime....
  15. I've always found marco rock wayyyyy too dense. You pay a ton per pound, because, well, there are a lot of pounds. Looking forward to what this looks like in the future!
  16. water quality issues from the city? wtf? i would love to hear about them.
  17. They can be calibrated (I'm getting some solution in this week), but they're pretty foolproof. Hook up a tube and poof you get a reading. You can double check it by lining both probes up on your input and see if they have the same reading to see if one of the probes has gone AWOL.
  18. photo without actinics?
  19. They've got some pretty gnarly teeth
