  1. Drilled the hole for my Skimmer waste, and a hold for the Rodi line that I had sitting around from an old project. Pulled the wires through the line and the fitting to give myself a little distance for it to trip and turn off the skimmer. On to the next project... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Time for Surgery.... Took lots of pictures and taped labels onto each wire to make sure I put them back correctly... It was a PITA to get the main wires back into the screw in holders... Anyways! Back in Business! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Yes, lots of interest, no follow through Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  4. Getting to the home stretch, my hand hurts from scraping all the coraline off the front and sides last night.... Last 2 things are installing the breakout box for the Float switch from my skimmer collector, and Mounting the Wires from the pumps on the back of the tank!
  5. I Like the RW as well. Will Not Purchase another WP
  6. When I had them, I siphoned out manually daily trough a filter sock, then changed Carbon Daily, and ran Phosban. Went away in about a week. Mine were waaaaaay worse than that!

  11. Got around to a big one today.... Pulled the plastic black background off and painted the back of the tank. Gotta love the Spousal support! Also touched up a lot of spots on the stand and trim. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Used some wire coil from Altex to bind the odd angle wires together... Used some black zip ties and viola! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. OK, so ATI is sending me 2 new Light controllers which will need to be installed inside the ballasts. Good news is that I will have no Light down time. Bad news is no LED's until they are replaced, and I have to keep my computer plugged into one of them in order for it to keep the correct time of day... SMH It's my fault. After researching more, You are always supposed to plug in the fixture to the Ballast prior to the Ballast receiving power. Evidently during all my unplugging and moving things the last few days, I plugged power into the Ballast prior to the fixtures which caused a surge in the controller.
  14. I just have to figure out how to install the float valve on the lid so that it turns off the skimmer when it fills about half way Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  15. Ok, so how to I install the Float Switch to the lid of the Waste Container so that it's a few inches down the bucket?
  16. My biggest thing is ease of disposal and monitoring... I don't plan on letting it fill all the way... Maybe half way Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  18. What's a DIN cable? and i've already ordered the Neptune Break Out and a float switch so no going back there.
  19. I have crushed coral in my 200g and had Aragonite Sand in my 60. I would definitely go Sand in any new setup. Nothing necessarily wrong with the crushed coral, I just like a little more of a "natural" look.
  20. Dying palys can for sure. Not sure about why the clown would be knocking them over
  21. Phosguard is designed for rapid Phosphate reduction. I don't think it would have any effect on the clarity of the water directly.
  22. Fail... should have looked at the for Sale threads before I bought new....
