    The Black tubing that comes with it should just fit in very snug. I don't have an issues with it coming out. Does it not stay in?

    I haven't caught him yet... I will be selling my Red Coris Wrasse. He likes to flip things over so if you have a lot of small Frags on the substrate, stay away! Haha He's pretty aggressive towards new tank mates also.. If they're healthy they'll be fine but if you have timid fish I'd also say to stay away...     Yeah, large container lasts me about a year. I don't add any magnesium unless it comes up as low. I have sown BRS mag mix for that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    I use ARM Extra Coarse Media http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/caribsea-arm-reactor-media-extra-coarse.html . and a secondary chamber after the main chamber to bring the PH back up before going into the tank. The Second has standard crushed coral substrate in it.

    Based on Glass Holes overflow style... which is almost exactly how mine is set up.. They use a baffle above the bulkhead to stop the slush sound that comes from the water falling straight into the Bulkhead. I cut an insert almost the same depth as the overflow but not as wide.. Water is still flowing pretty freely on the sides of the baffle just not much from the back or front. I did the same thing on each one. I tried them without the feet and they would just fall down.

    Now that I have my Overflows pretty silent I hear the heck out of my Mag 18 and Mag 12! Any thoughts on a substitute quieter Return Pump?

    What type of LED and how are they setup? Maybe a Retro fit would be good depending on what you're doing.

    It was pretty dang silent! I cut a little extra off the sides to allow more water to go around. It seems that most of the water is going through that right overflow which leads me to believe that my stand or floor is slightly not level. I want to build one more for each overflow and see how it all sounds at the end.

    Overflow baffle take one Silenced it instantly! But I couldn't get it into the overflow without taking off the center foot. Then I had a really hard time getting it back out so this time I made a short handle for the top. I'm going to let it cure overnight and try it in the morning. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    It does. I can close it off to a full siphon, it just scares me when I do that. I've had it almost overflow before from closing them to remove the noise. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Ok, i've been talking to Shane since its drilled by him and trying to troubleshoot ways to silence it... He's stumped so he's going to come out and take a look in person. Will post what we figure out.

    I run BioPellets and have for 4 years.... When my Nitrates begin to creep up, time to add more media... starts to drop back down to 0 in a few days. Real Reef isnt real Live Rock, thus it might not be helping at all... I have the marine pure blocks as my skimmer stand very bulky and not flat... might be working, might not... IDK
