Cancel this. I've decided to go a different route.

I'm just not looking to buy a new bucket of good salt if I'm going to end up throwing it all down the drain anyway...Dud you not need it anymore
-
Not really sure. I'm probably going to end up with 125-150 lbs of pukani and I'll need the change the water at least 4 times to cure it
-
Yeah, I thought about that but I don't want to introduce anything from anyone's tank... Just in case.

I know, just giving you a hard time!

Yes, but only about 1/4-1/3 of the rock in my tank is the BRS dry Pukani. The rest was live rock from my old tank. Does it grow more algae than the live, or are they about the same

For sure... The Pukani will be literally 150 lbs of rock. The Tukani will have water weight and be less volume. I didn't have a good dry rock experience, but i used Marco Rock, anyone in town have an established tank using pukani?

Sasha's suggestion was, keep a frag everything I want to keep, sell off the colonies, thus funding the new rock and aquascape supplies. And makes it easier to house the coral until it's re setup

I'm probably going to have to pull majority of if out. Yes. There's Aptasia and Palys on it

And your coral aren't being stung or choked out by trash palys and gsp either....

I tried Marco rock in the past, it was very dense and grew algae like crazy... Not doing that again Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Well..... I'm giving serious thought to throwing away all my rock and starting over fresh.. I'm pricing out dry vs live And the pros and cons of acid washing/bleaching my current rock and reusing it vs doing the same with dry rock.... Idk what to do Palys, Aiptasia, and gsp have ruined my current substrate and rock. It's going to only get worse at this point Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
