It was purchased about a Year and a Half Ago and Drilled at Fishy Business by Shane where the sump was also made. No Scratches that I know of. It and 100% ready to go system, with and APEX Jr., Chiller, Dosing pumps, Jugs, Live Rock, Coral, Fish, CUC, TLF Reactor, UV, etc. The Bulbs in the VHO Canopy have about 3 Months left on them, then the will need replacing, but that's about it. Fish eat everything, Mysis, Brine, PE Mysis, Pieces of Scallop and Krill, NLS Pellets, Flakes, Nori, Etc! Eel Eats Krill, PE Mysis, and Scallops, Haven's ever really tried anything else. There is some Hairy Purple Algae on some of the Rock, and some Astrea Stars throughout, so I will help whoever purchases in scrubbing, etc. I haven't really been keeping up with it since I spend most of my attention on my 200g reef. The system as is will Grow SPS, LPS, and Clams. Will discount when multiple things are purchased. Will still sell full setup or whatever's left. Ok, So I picked up the wave box from Richard and tried it out. For this experiment I turned off all my returns and Vortechs. Had some technical issues but the time when I did get it going. It had alot more reach than the Vortechs. I run my Vortechs at about 60% fyi I ran the Wavebox at 100%. The Wavebox reached all the way to the other side of the tank. The Vortech right next to it reaches about 4 feet but dissapates. (Just over half the tank) Conclusion: In the little time that I had it running, it was clear that it works in making a wave, but falls short of variations in flow or direction. I enjoy the semi randomness that comes from the Vortechs, also the Large Torch that was directly behind the wavebox got almost no flow, whereas with the vortech it gets a nice mave motion from the water around the pump. As a few said, I think its up to your preference and what you want your tank to look like. I personally will stick with Vortech. Thanks Richard!
