I put the details in my build thread

  2. FYI, at home depot anchors were 7$ for 100, 2$ for 10. 4" zip ties were 2$ for 100. Ecotech sold sets or 10 for 6$ plus shipping.
  3. Yeah, that's super lower to begin with. That's probably why it's not shutting off. The pressures not building at the chevkvalve
  4. I was looking for some a while back and totally overpaid for what was sold to me as Ponape Birdsnest but was actually just regular purple polyped birdsnest. If you have some, please send me a price and pic.
  5. I want a piece of that green umbrella leather of yours!
  6. I was thinking about that. I have plenty of zip ties, just not the anchors.
  7. I have been saving my zip ties and anchors that came with my MP40's until I moved. Well I've moved and I CANT FIND THEM!!!! I would like to mount my cables and drivers now that i'm here to stay. If you have any extra let me know if I can take them off your hands.
  8. I have tried it in a few places. I found that it doesn't like any direct flow and it didn't like when I had it up high. Right now, I have it in a nook where it's inbetween an mp40 and a return nossle, and around the bottom 1/3 of the tank. It has been happy since!
  9. Coming down to South Austin on Saturday morning, willing to meet.
  10. When I had them in my 90 g tank, I did a combination of many things. I raised my PH, I changed carbon frequently, I reduced my photo period, I scrubbed the rocks I did a series of small water changes where I was replacing the Dino-siphoned water with clean water. Shane had me siphoning into a sock when I wasn't throwing away the siphoned water. I fed every three or four days, I did this over a period of time and they began to go away as my nutrient levels went down. I've heard of carbon dosing helping, vodka would be the quickest method. I currently run bio-pellets and haven't had any issues. I'd hate to kill your rock, scratching the sand will help for sure I think
  11. My RBTA Split into 3 clones when I moved my tank a month ago! One of them moved to where I could get it today, and I took the opportunity. I have it separated in a in tank container. I'm home tonight and will be home about 8ish tomorrow. Pick up is in Shadowglen in Manor.
  12. He moved my 200g tank about a month ago. Lost one small frag out of numerous colonies and frags! I'd use him anytime. Took excellent care of my livestock! Look at the post in reef keeping entitled "how to move a 200g aquarium"
  13. I was mounting my corals and created a few frags by mistake. 1 Forest Fire Digi - 1-2" Multiple Branch Frag - $25 $20 5 Heads Neon Green Candy Cane - $10 I've also had these for a while and after consolidating tanks, don't have room for them. 1 Large frag of Purple Polyped Birdsnest about 2-3" multiple Branches - $30 - $25 1 Green Torch Coral - $20 SOLD Open to trades for Ricordia's and or SPS, and open to offers. 14. Check out the Zeovit site. There's full descriptions of each additive and their Benifits to your corals. I use: Zeobak - source of multiple bacterial strains - dosed 2x a week Coral Vitalizer - it's a coral food. Helps with my encrusting and color - dosed 2-3x a week Amino Acid Sps - helps promote healthy growth of sps, and polyp extension - dosed 2x a week Pohls xtra - polyp extension and color - dosed 2x a week Sponge power - clears water And helps fragged corals heal - Dosed 2x a week ZeoSpur2 - improves Orp and lightens coral tissue - dosed 1x a month Bbalance - improves greens and blues - dosed 1x a week
  15. There's an old pic of mine in my build thread on the 4th page. It's in the frag rack pic. It's bigger now. http://www.austinreefclub.com/topic/20788-juicemans-oceanic-200g-build-video-update/page__st__60
  16. I have a baseball size frag of green base, purple polyped bird nests that's I need to sell. Let me know. I can send you a pic tomorrow night when I get home. Pm me if interested.
  17. I use bio-pellets with gfo and use zeobak and additives for coral. I have enjoyed the results. It is noticeable.
  18. It's an interesting thing to ponder. My thought is that most coral foods don't reek of decayed food and waste. I have been using the Zeovit foods as of late, and they all smell like vinegar or similar. I would be afraid to add the skimmer contents. I think fresh skimmate maybe, but not the stuff that's been collecting over the week/month. I've heard of it feeding your garden though! like maybe right after you feed frozen food, let the juices etc get skimmed out, then spot feed it you your corals. Makes sense. Then the excess would get skimmed right back out! lol
  19. You and the embeded videos! lol
